Lawsuit Filed Against Depo-Provera Manufacturer Over Alleged Health Risks

USA – 09/03/2025: Ever since Depo Provera was linked with the increased risk of developing meningiomas —brain tumors, hundreds of Depo Provera lawsuits have been filed against the manufacturer —Pfizer Inc. and Pharmacia & Upjohn Company LLC. In the lawsuits, the plaintiff alleged the manufacturers did not provide adequate warning. However, the matter is still to be heard, and the court has allowed people to file lawsuits and seek compensation against their suffering, pain, and losses.

Depo Provera is a birth control injection widely used by young adults, black women, and people with lower incomes. The contraceptive injection contains harmful components called hormone medroxyprogesterone acetate. No doubt, a single Depo shot provides protection against pregnancy for three months or 12 weeks, but frequent use of contraceptive injections puts users at increased risk of developing meningiomas.

As the number of cases rises, people need to understand the legal aspects of Depo Provera lawsuits. Hence, The Justice Now offers a Free helping hand to people looking to file Depo Provera lawsuits. Given the complex process, legal technicalities, and other aspects, plaintiffs need to understand a number of things before filing the lawsuits.

“We have assisted hundreds of depo provider users who developed meningiomas —brain tumors after the use of contraceptive injection,” said the CEO of The Justice Now. “Filing lawsuits is a complex process, and it involves a number of things, including criteria, usage records, evidence, and more.” “We guide every plaintiff by reviewing their case (Free) and helping them connect with the best lawyer suitable for their case, ”  she added.

Filing Depo Provera Lawsuits

If anyone has used Depo Provera lawsuits twice for two years and developed brain tumors, they are eligible to file lawsuits against the manufacturer and seek compensation. However, plaintiffs need to understand the process, find a good lawyer, review their case, gather evidence, and file the lawsuit. The process gets smoother when they are backed and supported by lawyers.

Gather Evidence

Whatever evidence the victims have, from prescription bills to medical records, gather all those and make a file.

Connect with Lawyer

If victims can, they should find a good lawyer. Otherwise, they can connect with firms like The Justice Now and get an attorney with experience and expertise in depo provera cases.

Review Cases

A lawyer will review their Depo Provera lawsuits and help them prepare documents, removing every loophole and obstacle (that might hinder filing Depo Provera lawsuits).

File the Lawsuit

Once the document is ready, the lawyer will file lawsuits. The lawyer will work on the settlement part and secure compensation for victims.

FAQs

Q How Does Depo-Provera Work?

Depo Provera contains the hormone progestin, which effectively stops ovulation and prevents the ovaries from releasing eggs. It also thickens cervical mucus, preventing sperm from reaching eggs and the eggs from attaching to the uterine.
