A Competitive Version of Wordle is Now Available Claimed

Be the first to review

Do you currently maintain an active Wordle group chat, however feel that the excitement of surpassing your friends, family, dordle or colleagues in individual puzzles is insufficient? The New York Times has just launched Wordle Golf, a competitive format for Wordle influenced by golf, allowing participants to compete over nine days to choose a conclusive Wordle champion.

This competitive variant of Wordle, inspired by golf, assigns lower scores to early guesses, with the objective of achieving the fewest points possible. The New York Times indicates that Wordle is somewhat less challenging than real golf, particularly regarding a “hole-in-one,” which has a probability of 12,500 to one, but the likelihood of correctly guessing the Wordle on the first attempt is just a few thousand to one.

To participate in Wordle Golf, assemble a group willing to engage in Wordle for nine consecutive days. Subsequently, you must aggregate your daily scores, with the victor being the one who has the lowest total at the conclusion. Your daily score is determined by the number of guesses required to solve the problem, with additional penalties for failing to participate on a given day or for revealing the solution prematurely.
